New Charity law and its implications for BME Group funding in Northern Ireland
As you may be aware, new Charities Legislation will come in to force in April 2010, this will have a significant impact on BME organisations in Northern Ireland. New measures will mean that groups will have greater requirements to fulfil in order to satisfy new legal obligations as enforced by the recently established Charities Commission.
NICEM will be holding 3 information sessions to provide advice and support on how these changes will effect you and what measures your organisation should take.
These will take place on the following dates:
· Belfast session: 24th March, 10 am til 1pm
· Omagh session: 29th March, 10 am til 1pm
· Ballymena: 6th April, 10am til 1pm

Refreshments and Lunch will be provided and travel costs will be reimbursed in line with current NICEM policy.
