Invitation to NICEM pre-election debate with the Political Party Candidates
NICEM is holding a pre-election debate which will allow members of minority ethnic communities to challenge candidates from the main political parties in Northern Ireland on the issues that matter. With more ethnic minority voters registered to vote in the May 2011 election than ever before political parties are keen to interact with this important electorate.
We would like to warmly invite you and members of your community to this event which will be held on;
Tuesday 19th April
from 5.30pm till 7.30pm
at the Wellington Park Hotel in Belfast.
Places are limited so please register for this event by close of play on Friday 17th April. A buffet supper will be provided, please advise us of any dietary or access requirements you may have.
The debate will be chaired by guardian journalist and author Henry McDonald, political parties confirmed so far are the DUP, Sinn Fein, SDLP, UUP, Alliance and the Green Party. There will be the opportunity to ask questions on the day but to ensure that your question will get asked please fill in the attached question slip.
