The one stop shop is a free, confidential
advice and support service for asylum seeekers. we provide assistance
for those who have applied for asylum to calim NASS (National
Asylum Support Service) support, as well as follow on needs.
Advice and referal for those asylum seekers who are not NASS eligible
Services
avilable from NICEM's One stop shop
• Inital assessment and discussion of options
• Briefing on NASS process and time scale
• Assesment of urgent needs
• Arrangement of emergency accomadation
• Applying for NASS support
• Referral to legal representatives
• Refferal and registration with helth providers
• Arranging access to community groups
• Advice & advocacy for those withinn the NASS system
• Refferals to social services and other orginsations for
non NASS
