NICEM's
Anti-racism and Anti-discrimination programme has been established
to tackle the growth of racist based attitudes and opinions, as
well as to address issues of racism and prejudice in Northern Ireland.
The
objectives of anti-racism training and education seek to counter
racism; create self sustaining structures of anti-racism activity
and cross community participation; promote inter-ethnic participation;
provide awareness of the value of cultural diversity and of the
dangers of social exclusion.
